To the family that’s fathered – Today we Stand

Where six generations sweep our kin

Since the first generation of the Wards’ family tree

That struck off their bonds and made us free.

To the second generation, who by their sweat in the soil

Made this land ours, by right of toil

 

To the third generation, who through enduring determinations

Continued our family’s struggle in this nation

 

To the fourth generation, who saw opportunity arise

And took on the challenges that brought our family pride

​

To the fifth and sixth generations who will not forget our aim

And will continue to bring pride and respect to the WARD name…
